Day 01: Nairobi – Masai Mara. Depart Nairobi at 08:30am and drive south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon in time for an afternoon game drive to this immense reserve with 590 square miles of rolling plains and wooded hills, you will have the opportunity to observe the magnificent game of the African wild in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight at the Manyatta camp or Lodge.

Day 02: Masai Mara. This is one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves, from July to October, it provides one of nature’s most dramatic sights, the annual migration of over a million Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelle from the Serengeti in the south and across the Mara River into Masai Mara. Following their footsteps are Africa’s predators; Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena. Full day spent in search of Elephants, Buffalo, Lion, Zebra, Cheetah, Rhino, Wildebeest and other plains’ game as well as prolific birdlife. All meals and overnight at Manyatta Camp or Lodge.

Day 03: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru. Early morning game drive at Masai Mara. After breakfast drive to Nakuru with lunch enroute. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake and is home to the greater and lesser Flamingos. At times you may see a lion crawling on the water’s edge, or if you are a bird lover you will spot different bird species. Accommodation at the Chester hotel or lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 04:  Lake Baringo & Lake Bogoria. Early breakfast then drive to Lake Baringo. Lake Baringo is famous as a bird sanctuary. This is a fresh water lake in the Rift Valley, covering an area of 170 square kilometer, with a depth of 12 meters. Kampi ya Samaki is the center of exploration in lake Baringo. This is a spectacular and mellow place to visit particularly with the Boating trips to the islands such as the ‘Devil’s island’ and also with the bird walk, together with the various water sports available to tourists. A one hour boat ride will be arranged at lake Baringo.

After lunch, proceed to the spectacular Lake Bogoria. This is a shallow lake found in the Rift Valley, covering an area of 30 square kilometer, with a depth of 9 meters and home to a sizeable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. Other attractions are the hot springs and geysers (with the hot springs boiling hot), gazelles, greater kudu, and impala. The sheer face of the northeastern ends of the Aberdare Ranges dominates the eastern side of the lake., which is a shallow soda lake with beautiful scenery and also home The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers, which also contribute to the beauty of the Lake. Late afternoon drive back to Nakuru for dinner and overnight stay atChester hotel or lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 05: Lake Nakuru. After breakfast proceed for full day game viewing drives at Lake Nakuru national park with picnic lunch provided in the park. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals to be encountered, such as many large game animals such as zebras, elephants and gazelles; this is one of our best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where we can see Rothschild’s Giraffes. Late afternoon drive to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight at Fish eagle Inn or lodge.

 

Day 06: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi.  After breakfast drive to Hell’s Gate national park for a walking tour. Located in Naivasha area, this is one of the lowland parks in the country which you can walk through. The looming cliffs and the Hell’s Gate gorge itself are spectacular and home to a variety of birds and animals such as zebra, baboons, Thomson gazelle, antelope, cheeter, and leopard. Another main attraction is the Fischer’s Tower 25-m high calcium of volcanic rock. The Olkaria Geothermal power station, which uses one of the hottest sources of energy in the world, is also a spectacular site, with plumes of steam rising into the air. Afternoon the drive back to Nairobi where you arrive around 16:00pm
