Day 01: Nairobi – Arusha. Board shuttle bus in the morning and drive to Arusha where you arrive around 14:00pm. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 02: Arusha – Tarangire. Depart Arusha for Tarangire national park. Afternoon game viewing drives will follow after lunch. Throughout the year there are always a fantastic number of colorful birds swooping and strutting along the rough paths in front of your vehicle, with likely spots including the Paradise Whyder and endearing Yellow-collared lovebirds. Tarangire is a great spot for elephant gatherings at the end of the rainy season in June, and zebra and wildebeest return together through July. Dinner and overnight at the Camp or lodge.

Day 03: Tarangire – Serengeti. After breakfast drive to Serengeti with lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for afternoon game viewing drives. The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as Moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Dinner and overnight at  the Seronera campsite or lodge.

Day 04: Full day Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the camp in the mid afternoon. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles,
ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. Dinner and overnight at the Seronera Campsite or Lodge.

Day 05: Serengeti – Ngorongoro. After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive and picnic lunch enroute to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Optional visit to Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. This cost $37 per person payable direct to the museum.

Day 06: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara. Breakfast at around 06:00am and descend to the Ngorongoro crater floor for the game viewing drives. The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lion, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes. Afternoon drive to Twiga Campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 07: Lake Manyara – Arusha. After breakfast proceed for game viewing at Lake Manyara, the old Hunter’s paradise and home to the famous tree climbing lions. On the Lake shore you will find thousands of flamingoes and other water birds conducting their daily business amongst the hippos.  The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of scenic beauty. Branch breakfast then drive back to Arusha for overnight at your hotel.

Day 08: Arusha – Amboseli. After breakfast depart Arusha at 08:00am and drive to the Namanga border town from where you’ll board your safari vehicle and proceed to Amboseli national park. Lunch is served on arrival followed by afternoon game viewing drives. Amboseli is famous for its unforgettable views of mount Kilimanjaro and a relaxed abundant population of elephants, as well as prolific bird life. Dinner and overnight at Kibo tented Camp or Lodge.

Day 09: Amboseli. Morning and afternoon game drive where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals and many different species of birds on the ground. All meals and overnight at Kibo tented Camp or Lodge.

Day 10: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru via Nairobi, with lunch enroute. Afternoon game viewing drives to see flamingoes in there thousands in this lake also called the ‘pink lake’. Lake Nakuru is also home to rhinos and the rare Rothschild’s Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at Chester hotel or Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 11: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara. After breakfast depart for Masai Mara to arrive for lunch at the Camp or Lodge. Afternoon game drive till evening when you return for dinner and overnight at Manyatta Camp or lodge.

Day 12: Masai Mara. Full day game viewing coupled with exploring this spectacular Park. The Mara is the land of African legend; Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Dinner overnight at Manyatta Camp or Lodge.

Day 13: Masai Mara – Nairobi. Morning game drive. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi to arrive around 16.00pm.
